A friend and I tried out Dosa Corner last night (yes as in Valentine's
Day...so sad!) :) The restaurant was cozy with red themed decor that
brings to mind spices! And spicy it was (you may have to request mild)! We ordered the Masala Vada
(7.99)as an appetizer - these are lentil cutlet rounds that are crispy
on the outside and soft on the inside...delicious! I don't believe you
can find these elsewhere in the city because it is a Sri Lankan dish.
For mains we split the Minced Goat Dosa (14$) and Vegetable Korma with
String Hoppers. The dosa was huge and crispy & the filling of goat
with potato and spices was delicious. The vegetable korma was made with
north american veggies (broccolli, peas, carrots) and was a coconut milk
base which you spoon over top of nests of vermicelli noodles. It was
really good. The chef also gave us a couple pieces of cake as freebies
(valentine's day cake) aw.
Update 2013: I believe the location has changed since I last visited.
